Sun, summer and...
jeep
In mid summer I picked up body from body shop.
It was sand blasted, repaired (50 years of hard life showed on it, but generally this is not a big problem as the sheet metal is thick and numerous coats of pain protected it from corrosion).
After repair and premier, came famous olive-drape US Army Paint (WOW! again).
Prettiest sight I have ever seen (pleas don't tell that to my girlfriend).
Now only thing remaining is to mount it on chassis and bolt them together.
Now my jeep looks like this (COOL isn't it, Worth every penny)
The whole process of restoration set me back one year and xxx$, but as I sad worth every penny.
Next few years I spent looking for small parts that jeep was once full of.
Now my jeep is 95% of its original state.
What a ride.
