Why Willys?
Simple in construction.
Unforgettable in character.
This site grew out of a personal love for the Jeep: a small, durable vehicle that left a lasting mark. Its story continues beyond the war years, through civilian models, restorers’ workshops and the roads it still travels today.
Here we store the technical knowledge, photos and experiences that help keep those vehicles alive.

I would like to introduce you to a vehicle that left a strong impression on me at this presentation. Very durable, strong and able to overcome difficult situations, the Jeep was created in an incredibly short time, and became one of the vehicles of all time and one of the heroes of the Second World War.
It fought in many conflicts, was used by armies around the world, and has been in operational service for decades. It was officially a 1/4 ton truck 4x4, but to the world it became simply — Jeep.
General Eisenhower used to say that "the Jeep, the Dakota and the landing craft won the war." This site is dedicated to the history, models, restoration and technical literature of Willys and Ford vehicles.
