Description and technical data
1. General description
All-terrain vehicle 1/4 t, 4×4, "Jeep", Willys model MB and Ford model GPW (figs. 1, 2, 3 and 4) are vehicles used in JNA units to transport personnel and to tow single-axle small trailers. They are particularly suitable for reconnaissance and as command vehicles.
These are vehicles with four-wheel drive, equipped with a four-stroke gasoline engine. The vehicle's transmission is of the usual three-speed type. They are equipped with a drive distributor that enables three more reduced speeds for movement on difficult terrain.
The body of the vehicle is an open type with an open compartment for the driver. The tarpaulin roof can be removed and folded; the windshield is movable and can be laid forward on the engine cover.
2. Technical data
The technical data presented in this point include the most necessary data about the vehicle in general and about individual devices and assemblies in particular.
In order to make it easier to find the required data, the data is presented in the same order as the description of individual devices and assemblies, so the data should be searched within the device to which they belong.
Exceptionally, data on lubrication and the types of oil intended for the lubrication of individual assemblies should be sought in point 32 and the lubrication scheme at the end of the book.

Pages ready for printing
By opening any technical unit, you get a page suitable for viewing on a computer, phone or tablet. For PDF use the button Print / PDF or standard browser menu Print, then select Save as PDF.

For this section, smaller technical illustrations were used, adapted to the page format and display on mobile devices, so that they retain their technical character and do not exceed the limits of light cards.
The data are taken from the original material from the book, without library stamps and subsequent entries, and are arranged according to the same technical units as on the website.
